Beach babes...
Wow what a full day...I am actually combining pictures from Wednesday and Thursday because it's been difficult keeping track of the days! Wednesday however, we managed to get away for a few hours with out any kids. We walked to town and shopped, stopped for a light snack and then headed back for some lunch and a trip back to the beach! AWESOME!! I bought some new pottery, mugs for tea and coffee and some homemade strawberry jam. The beach was so fun, unfortunately..or fortunately depending on how you look at it?? We got caught in a torrential downpour! The skies were warning us..they were getting darker and darker, people were leaving the beach..packing up and setting out, but did we listen? No..not at all! Too busy, building sand castles and wrestling in the sand....
Within seconds, the rain begun..it poured, it pelted us! It was a rain storm, ready to destroy our fun in the sun..but we were not going down without a fight! Well, maybe Jackie was?? It was exciting, it was funny and it cooled us down!
We eventually packed up and headed back to the cottage, we made tea, started dinner and sat down once again to share stories and look at pictures. Another wonderful day was had, and ended just a great! The kids were exhausted, a little sunburned, wet from the storm but still smiling..and thats all that mattered!
My favorite picture of Ethan, its just gorgeous!
I am just posting pictures of our time, no words necessary..self explanitory!
Like I said...self explanitory!! LOL
Myself and Jackie, the day of the torrential downpour!
Here is a picture of the girls, a friend from Kail's and Carr's school came for a visit as well as her mom and some other girlfriends. It was nice to have them, we had a wonderful lunch prepared for them once they arrived and then we once again headed to the beach for more sun scortching!!
Us ol'mom's hanging on the beach... Thank you ladies for a wonderful day!
And the beautiful girlies..chill'in on the beach. They made a pyramid for fun!
The gang! I jumped in last minute..kinda looks like I was a passerbyer who jumped into the picture!
