Wednesday's Reflection...

As you know, Kail and I have been away for a few days and I didn't have access to any internet service. Thank you to Spencer for the wonderful blog post that he did on Tuesday and please check out his flickr account, he put it in the blog. His work is fabulous and he is sooo talented, I was honoured to have his pictures on my blog.
Well my friends, today was wonderful! We had a great day, it was filled with so much. First off, Tuesday night , after a long afternoon at the beach...we had an amazing dinner featuring some steaks, potatoes and vegetables.

Along with dinner we of course enjoyed some white wine.

This was the first time that I have had the chance to meet Michelle's childhood best friend. Her name is Jackie and she is currently living in New York City. Tell me that isn't cool?? She gave me some wonderful tips and some great ideas while we are in NYC. Jackie has a 4 year old son named Xander...he is the cutest little man ever! I was lucky enough to bring Ethan(who is by far..the cutest 7 year old ever), which made it easier at times for us to sit and chat...Ethan and Xander played well together most of the time!

Of course there were battles, both boys are very busy and like attention. Overall they were great and we had many laughs with them. The girls are best of friends and spend alot of time together..they are close and would enjoy eachothers company even if stranded on a deserted island! They did have lots of time alone, lots of beach time, chatting time and sleeping time! They were also a great help with the boys...and we even had some good conversations with them around the campfire.
Our first day was a success...everyone was in bed fairly early and ready to rise for the beach the next day! Thank you Michelle and Carrigan for the invitation, Jackie it was a pleasure meeting you and Xander and we are looking forward to meeting you again in the future!
