Mondays Menu and an Ollie Update...

What you need!

1 lb. (450 g) boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 cup Kraft Signature Greek with Feta and Oregano Dressing, divided
12 cherry tomatoes
6 medium button mushrooms, cut in half
8 asparagus spears, blanched, cut into 2-inch lengths

Make it

PLACE: Steak in large resealable plastic bag. Add 1/4 cup of the dressing; seal bag. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate. Remove steak from marinade; discard bag and marinade.

PREHEAT barbecue to medium heat. Thread steak onto 12 wooden skewers alternately with the tomatoes, mushrooms and asparagus.

GRILL kabobs 15 min. or until steak is cooked through and vegetables are crisp-tender, turning and brushing occasionally with the remaining 1/4 cup dressing.

Very easy recipe one that any one can do. I chose this one because sometimes a reminder of something simple on the bbq is kinda nice. So remember my friends that Kabobs are always a hit with the kids, family and even for get togethers! Enjoy!!

Well, just a little update on Ollie..

He is 10 weeks old and doing just wonderful! He has gotten so big in just the small amount of time that we have had him. I cannot believe the difference in him. We took him to the vet last Friday and he weighed 1.8 pounds and they figure he will get to be about 6 pounds at full growth. So, he is a little on the tiny side, but I love him. Everyone he meets, manage to just fall in love with him and want to cuddle, hug and hold him! After having raised 2 yellow labs...I must admit this little puppy is nothing, compared to the other two.

Seriously..its ridiculously easy having him, he loves to chase you, loves to play tug of war...which thankfully both the labs play with him very gently. Harley just loves him, he follows him, checks on him, kisses him and even gets really happy when Ollie makes his way through the garage door after going outside to the washroom.

Finley I must admit is not dealing well at all! She is a very sensitive dog, very smart, loyal and protective. Not to mention dominante, she would never hurt Ollie. Finley is very gentle and is starting to come around, she does play with him...but then wants to be alone. The last couple evenings we have had some alone time with Finley, cuddling on the couch, walk at night...extra treats. She really is a princess, she will learn to adjust and be just fine. Tonight was the first time she wagged her tail at Ollie and gave him a kiss...she also swam over to him when he fell in the pool tonight...she appeared to be concerned for him!
It's working out just fine, nights are better..Ollie is adjusting well to his crate and sleeping peacefully until we get him in the morning! He really is beautiful!
