Yes we did my friends, The Cambridge Turbo`s won the first game of the season! Well I won`t get to cocky, because anything can happen! However, it is so encouraging to start the regular season with a win!! They looked fabulous, they have speed, talent and ability and it showed today on the ice! Way to go ladies...couldn`t be prouder!!
I read this blog today and it made me so sad, it is a blog by a mom who was pregnant with twins. She went into labour early and delivered her twins at 21 weeks, they did not survive..Heartbreaking!! But, after the delivery the mom had a blood clot which travelled to her heart, into her lungs which then deprieved her brain from oxygen for 17 minutes. She is unresponsive, not responding to pain or stimuli...her family is devastated..Heartbreaking. I kept reading and found out that the husband had lost his first wife to cancer 3 years ago and had 3 children from that wife. He is about to loose her....Heartbreaking! You know, sometimes in low moments during life I can feel pretty sad...who doesn't?! The pain that this man must be feeling is agonizing. It is times like this that I do question my faith and I am directly reminded that no one is immune to tragedy.
Sleep well my friends, and sleep peacefully, be thankful tonight that your world is intact, safe and unscathed. For know we can breath peacefully...tomorrow is a new day!
Woohoo way to go Turbo's. Getting the first game of the season over with and winning it to. What a boost to their esteem. I hope their season goes well, will be watching for more wins and going to some games I hope! Great job girls!
