Cooking up a Storm...Monday's Menu.

Today was a whirlwind of cooking. Kailey and I are leaving in the morning to go away for a couple nights and I wanted to leave the boys with some food. Paul is really really self sufficient especially with cooking but as a mom and wife I feel obiligated to cook and be sure that they have good meals! So I am not going to share a specific recipe with you...because everything that I made was my own "throw it together" recipe. I will share my homemade banana bread recipe which happens to be amazing. I have posted some pictures of my kitchen mess today...it looked like a tornado ran through...I was a busy momma! All is done and I feel like I have accomplished sooo much, and my men will have some homemade chili, spaghetti and some banana bread. I know that they are busy over the couple days that we are gone, but they won't be eating out everyday.
Here are a few pictures of my crazy kitchen countertop...it was destroyed with busyness!

My favorite banana bread recipe...

Mix Well

I am excited to announce that tomorrow I will have a guest blogger...I know they will do me proud and you will be thrilled to get a glimpse of what they have to offer! I will return on Thursday night and I will post 2 blogs, one for Wednesday and for Thursday.
